Lucy is a highly experienced teacher. She first qualified as a Floor Barre instructor in 2012, and is one of only a handful of accredited teachers in the UK. She completed her Pilates matwork training under Vanessa Smith, and is fully qualified by the Pilates Foundation.
Lucy is Chancellor’s Fellow in History of Art at the University of Edinburgh. She is the author of Pina Bausch’s Dance Theatre (Edinburgh University Press), and co-editor of the forthcoming essay collection Performance in a Pandemic (Routledge). You can read more about her academic work here.
Lucy is Visiting Lecturer in Dance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she teaches Floor Barre for the Musical Theatre and Junior Conservatoire programmes.
